A fixed bed reactor is a vessel filled with solid catalyst particles (or reactive solids) that remain stationary while fluid (gas or liquid) flows through the bed, usually downward or upward. It’s one of the most common types of catalytic reactors.
Application Description
● Petroleum Refining: Catalytic Reforming (producing high-octane gasoline), Hydrocracking, Hydrotreating (removing sulfur, nitrogen).
● Bulk Chemical Production: Ammonia Synthesis (Haber process), Methanol Production, Sulfuric Acid (Contact Process), Steam Reforming for Hydrogen.
● Petrochemicals: Ethylene Oxide, Acrylonitrile, Maleic Anhydride.

● Simple construction, high conversion per pass, good catalyst utilization, easy to scale up.

Main material | Contacting material inside kettle mainly use SUS304, SUS316LL, SUS321, SUS310, also can be produced by Titanium, Nickel Alloy, Hastelloy, Inconel etc, or lined with PTFE, PPL, PFA and Nickel according to different requirements of reaction media. |
Controller Device | Equipped with automatic or programmed PID or PLC to achieve: |
| Temperature display and control, accuracy ± 1 ℃ (or ±0.1 ℃); | |
