Product Description
A fluidized bed reactor is a reaction vessel where a bed of solid particles (typically catalyst or reactant solids) is suspended and behaves like a fluid by passing a gas or liquid upward through it at sufficient velocity.
At low flow rates, the bed is fixed; When the fluid velocity reaches the minimum fluidisation velocity, particles lift and move apart; The bed expands, bubbles form, and solids circulate vigorously, creating a well-mixed, fluid-like state.
Application description
● Chemical production for: Acrylonitrile, Maleic Anhydride, Phthalic Anhydride, Methanol-to-Olefins.
● Polymerisation: Production of Polyethylene and Polypropylene.
Advantage
● Excellent heat transfer, near-isothermal conditions, ideal for highly exothermic or endothermic reactions.
● Continuous solids handling, catalysts can be added or removed while operating, continuous catalyst regeneration, can handle large throughputs.
● High gas-solid contact, but some gas bypasses as bubbles (not perfect plug flow).

Main material | Contacting material inside kettle mainly use SUS304, SUS316LL, SUS321, SUS310, also can be produced by Titanium, Nickel Alloy, Hastelloy, Inconel etc, or lined with PTFE, PPL, PFA and Nickel according to different requirements of reaction media. |
Controller Device | Equipped with automatic or programmed PID or PLC to achieve: |
| Temperature display and control, accuracy ± 1 ℃ (or ±0.1 ℃); | |
| Mixing Speed display and control; | |

| Valve open/close control; | |
| DCS system optional for keeping record of data. | |
